OK, i havent taken the video off my phone yet, but she made 226rwkw tonight, and had over 600nm of talk. Its a fun thing to drive, and the stall works awesomely, but i have gained some other issues.
My climate control unit is dead, so i have no heater. and the rear needs to come up, as the cats are now occasionally scraping. Thats it for todays update. Brett

Really cool to see this last night, did not expect a 351ci in the EL body. Really unique stuff.

Got a call the other night from a former member from here asking if i could attend the FTF Dyno day.
Was a good day an i placed 3rd overall. Beaten by a 315 FG GT and some bloke in a 4l Maverick, he managed to take highest reading overall for the day. What was interesting was the dynocomp dyno they used. This doesnt load the car as such and you essentially run it hard once it gets to a certain rev range. Due to a large converter and an artificial spike from said converter, i managed a lazy 1800odd rwkw. Some fiddling with the paramaters and she was again reading 224rwkw. The 315 FG returned 227 and the bloke in the Maverick was in the low 240's. A good day was had by all and it was a nice day to take the big girl out for a drive. I have managed to get 100k out of this tank, including 5 dyno runs and it has just under 3/4 of a tank, so as long as i dont get stuck in s**t traffic it runs quite well. The day was hosted at Pilkington Motorsport Engineering, and they were a very helpful bunch of guys and girls. Cheers and thanks for reading Brett

Contacted a company called 4wdsystems today, and have an Australian made locka on the way. After seeing the results a few others have had, i decided it was the best option, and will suit my style of driving.
Just waiting for it to turn up and get it intsalled, then off to WSID for a little test and see where we are at. Brett
