Wow, she looks so much better now! No one would believe that this was a taxi! That seems to be your trend. Buy a taxi and completely transform it. Nice work!

The paint really came out well, It looks like your camera isn't doing it justice either.
Have you done a lot of painting before? Any details on what paint you used? Gives me hope if you can get those results in your carport haha. |

All done with my trusty little Supercheap compressor and a gravity fed spraygun.... The compressor barely keeps up with the gun and I have to stop all the time but it does the job... Ideally I would like a bigger compressor but spending money on something that I only use every now and again really isnt worth it.... here is some of my work Sons Laser before he sold it..... Mates XM A Old mates VW Most people know about my Previous AU

Thanks for the info.
Those three all look great, your old AU did too. Whats the average cost of the materials for each car? With the limited amount of painting I'm done I'm finding the prep work the hardest, but it seems that patience pays off in the end. I'm wondering how bad the paint and body was on the laser for example? Do they look that good straight out of the gun? By the way, you need a proper camera! |

Remember the paint goes on top of it.... Mmmmm the laser wasnt that bad except for around the petrol filler, it was white originally. With acrylic.... NO! but 2Paks are that good straight out of the gun.... Thing is with acrylic if you make a stuff up, wait an hour and sand it back and respray (good for beginners). 2Pak requires good sprayguns, respiratory equipment etc

I gave it a light sand with 800
hit it with wax and grease remover. primer, paint & then clear.... I had a spare ICC cover so painted that the day before, so it was just a matter of removing the ICC and changing everything over to the new cover...
