Didnt go with my XR look I was going for.....

Now its pretty much XR without the badges and the Model number on the ID sticker.... It has all the XR stuff on it now... Bodykit, seats, suspension & wheels... It looks like a stock XR but its an Egas.

Well the car developed a bit of a diff whine couple weeks ago, so thought it was time to hunt around for a new diff... Spoke to a good mate of mine and he was swapping out his wifes XR6 diff for a XR6T LSD diff.... I just had to be patient while he found the time to do it... Anyways long story short, went around there to give him the money for the diff and he said he wants a lower ratio and that I could have the XR6T diff for the same price.... Picked it up last week and fitted it last Wednesday....

So now the car is sporting a XR6T 3.46 LSD M86 diff....

Scored the Cradle with the 19mm swaybar still on it too. So a little handling upgrade is always a bonus. :D

Nice mate, how does it fit though? I thought with the M86 you need to change the tail shaft as well?

Tail shaft bolts up no problems, Obviously under the almighty power of the LPG engine I wont need a turbo tailshaft  But you do have to change the axles as M86 are 31 spline....

At least the car is quieter now.... That objective was reached.
A nice little improvement in takeoff has been noted too :D

Well its been a little quiet on the car front of late.....

Diff is going fine except when one of the Shocker bolts came loose and dropped the shocker down a tad, making some wonderful noises in the process.... Thought it was a good idea to replace both shocks as they were the ones on the car when I bought it nearly 3 years ago...

Bought some paint a couple weeks ago....

Found a colour that was more to my liking that wouldnt have me washing the car every week just to make it look nice (So I tend not to wash it LOL).... So now getting my supplies together for a respray again....
