just spent the last 10 hours working on the car..

managed to drop the k frame to get the sump off to tap the oil return line..
also managed to re route the clutch cable to clear the manifold,
made up another heat sheild to cover the power steering pressure and return line as the manifold has very little clearance..
removed the vct oil line and fitted the braided ioil feed to the turbo..
and half mounted the intercooler...

thats it for today.. im buggered..lol

tomorrow fit up the manifold, turbo, wastegate and dump pipe..
remove the front guards to run intercooler pipes and start cutting the battery tray out.. :)

i might have it back on the road by next week??? :D

fitting tapped into the sump

Wow you have way to much time on your hands.

I say go both supercharged turbo i6. Could be like the twin turbo twin supercharged thread :p

What power figure are you looking for? About 300rwkw? Wouldn't that be fun.

yea, but i think 300rwkw is probably being a little greedy on a stock motor lol..
at the moment i think its set up for 7 psi.
i would like to see atleast 250+ rwkw but we will see.......

another busy day...

the manifold, wastegate and dump pipe are all final fitted, unfortunatly i have to cut 2" out of the exhaust to make it all fit..
also managed to fit the passanger side intercooler pipework.. f**k! thats alot of pipework..
im alittle concerned all that pipework might have an effect on how well the turbo spools up?..
i guess ill find out soon enough..might have to do a log manifold conversion to cut down on pipework????

I have the proper crimpers here Troy to do the battery cables if you need a hand.
Will just have to get a few crimps in the size you want.

whoa Troy. This looks serious mate. I havent been here for a while, and when I decide to have a look, people look like going crazy on power. Madness.....but in a good way. Can you tell me how much harder it will be to get this system re-engineered once its done?
