You can have the turbines done.

I had it done on a etm supplied T51r once.

Never got to test it. I cant remember if the inside was done as well.

I want to get all my stuff done but not sure if doing it inside the turbo manifold is a good idea and if the heat reduction is efffective if its only done on the outside.

the beanie will also hold huge amounts of heat after shutdown possably causing oil coking in the turbo..??

Good point, a water cooled CHRA would be the answer there in addition to ceramic coating of turbine housing.

Ive wrapped the turbine housing to firewall in the black heat wrap (over the heat shield) and like ive said before i have fuel lines that run directly under the dump and theres the powersteering hoses sitting 1mm from dump aswell.

The only problem i get is the p/s fluid drips out from where the "lid" locks on (very very poorly designed on the V8's) it drips on the exhaust manifold from time to time.

After you get some heat going through the manifolds it burns the p/s fluid and wafts of white smoke apear from under the bonnet, apparently race tape stops the leak (ak sam12h stylz).

update time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

had the car dyno tuned today..
there is a lot of good :D and some bad  ..

the bad!!!!!!
the recently replaced exedy hd clutch cannot hold the torque the engine is now pumping out,
it slips the clutch on the dyno in 3rd and 4th.

so the tuner had removed the adjustable boost t which was at 10psi reducing it to the std 7psi spring to try get a half decent run.
with a starting run at 3800rpm @ 7.5 psi it made an easy 230rwkw..
full throttle under 3800rpm will slip the clutch resulting in back off.

he seems to think that if i fix the clutch and up the boost to 10psi again, it could see up to 270rwkw..
the main thing im concerned about is the amount of torque its putting out will destroy the box next, which i half expect...lol

270 on 10psi would be epic with a stock motor.

I hope I get that much.

Are you going to upgrade the clutch or do something about the T5 next?
