ok day 3 of the turbo install consisted of the removal of the lower section of the battery tray,
i borrowed a huge a** hole saw from terroristghia to cut the hole for the intercooler piping..
after some measurements the hole was cut and the intercooler and pipework is now fitted.. :D
i trial fitted the bumper that came with the turbo bits but it has been chopped pretty bad..
so going chop up another bumper...

now i just got to wait untill monday to pick up the battery cable so i can run the battery cable to the boot and mount the battery box..

its possible, but the hole was already cut on the passenger side for the supercharger intake and i just used the same hole... so battery in the boot...

yep needs a better bumper for sure... im sure all the p plater hoons love the cooler hanging out the front.. im not that into the whole fully sick intercooler look.. but it serves a purpose..

i will be soon, plumbing back the bov.. i think some pipework modifications are needed.. :) to either run a long pipe over to the intake or move the bov to before the cooler..

although the set up did not have a bov at all??
im just going to use one of the bov's on the supercharger pipework just put the heavy spring back in...

anyway finished off final fitting the pipework, added boost line to the wastegate, fitted the heavier spring to one of the supercharger bov's and put some hose and heat wrap over the throttle cable and cruise cable..
ran some jumper leads so i could fire it up..
everything seams ok, no oil leaks ect. couldnt drive it or really rev it as there is no exhaust connected to the dump pipe as the cat is too long.

also started chopping a spare bumper that was on the wreck in the back yard as the other was chopped a bit more than nessasary.

and a huge thanks to 93eb for his help today ... :)

no started it on my supercharged tune.. ill get the exhaust fixed up at a local exhaust shop..
the dump pipe is flanged and the cat and exhaust is flanged but the dump pipe sits about an inch lower down than the rest of the system and the cat pipe is about 2 inches too long..

so if all goes to plan ill have it on the road wednesday, so ill be at livo in it on friday.. :D

that will make it a turbo install in 7 days.. might be a fordmods record??
