not sure yet, i dont think the box is to good, it has taken the shift kit on full adjustment to make it drive normal, so either the bands need adjustment or the box is just about f**k..
i can say as it is now it feels faster then before, there is no backing off for gear changes so no need wait for the boost to build up again..

It will be fine. Dont forget its built to handle 150kw.

In the old EB mine would still slip with your conventional shift kit on full. I put the s3 and s4 one in and it shifted hard and spun the wheels into 3rd.

I had it for 10,000 odd kms before I sold the car with no issues. Overheated the trans a few times doing mountain runs and once cool it was all good again. I didnt even have a trans cooler. :)

The worse part is changing autos, they are so heavy.

finally some results..
made up the s3/s4 shift kit and she boogies now, :D
i highly reccoment this mod to anyone who has high power running through the btr.

although at cruising speeds it shifts firm but not overly anoying, but on full blast, yep huge wheel spin through the gear change, there is not a smiley big enough to show how good it works.. :D

anyway i have both shift kits connected, with no shift kits on, when driving easy you can hardly feel it change gear, so i like the adjustable one so i can firm the normal driving shifts up a bit, when i want to give it heaps i switch the s3 shift kit on and its awsome..
ive got the shift kit adjuster and the switch for the s3/4 kit mounted on the shifter surround..

The extra outputs from an 8860 would come in pretty handy now i would imagine......lol

I have a Hobbs pressure switch which you could use to trigger the switches to the solenoids...

Nice work mate. Might come to the creek wednesday also.....

Cheers

thats not a bad idea daz, i do have a spare output on the stinger now that the fuel pump is controled by the factory ecu..

Nice update Troyman, sounds like that auto might do the job for a while with the shift kits installed. I'd get the spare one rebuilt just in case tho....

Cheers

thanks guys. :)
got a few things to still sort out though..
since ive had the auto fitted ive noticed the ecu load points are now different to when it was manual, and it is running extremely rich, so i think its time for a re tune?

due to rain last wednesday i couldnt run it at wsid...
so hopefully ill be able to run it this week...
