I'm glad it was only something simple.....

I would hold off upping the motor for the rent, till you have a back-up plan, like a decent motor to replace the one you have......

It has done a good job so far.....

I go so far as to say, if you double the boost, you could quadruple the torture.......

What tyres you got on rear now....same as before??

tyres are the same size just different brand, had no name kinforests on the rear before.
now falken re 912s pretty good tyre for the price..still nothing special though.

no. lol its still sitting there waiting to be installed..

i was going to change it because my diff was making noise, but it tuned out it had next to no oil in it..
so the lsd is still working fine so i have left it in for a while longer..

That's no good. Wonder where it leaked out.... Checked your axle seals? Maybe it's leaked out that end...

Do you just have the standard diff in it at the moment? If so its held up ok considering...

no visible leaks except for what looks like oil vapour from the breather, as the breather hose was split for some time,,

ive been running the std 3.45 lsd, it was rebuilt about 2 years back and other then the mistery oil dissapearence the diff is holding up fine..

time for an update, i went to fibresports this morning to pick up the fibreglass ed xr boot lip spoiler they made from an original rubber one i supplied..
so awc/fibresports now have the mould to make eb/ed xr fibreglass coppies... :)

anyway i trial fitted it and it fits nice..

now ive just cleared out one side of my shed and set up a couple of heaters to heat the shed so i can paint the thing!.. stupid cold wet summer :evil:

I remember there was a guy in Canberra who was making these. Any warping or fitment issues? Mine is warped and will need a new one. I'm going to give them a call after the holiday season

the one in canberra was canberra car styling..they closed down a couple of years ago..
it fits good. there is 1 or 2 minor in pefections as my original was in really poor shape, but noting a little filler rr spray putty wont fix. otherwise no issues yet, although it was only made a few days ago..

today i finished off fitting the rear lip spoiler, i painted it yesterday and gave it a hand polish this morning.. done!

i think they would be around the $200 mark??
