but i have to do something about my clutch cable as it still touches the wastegate housing, and the housing gets damn hot!!!

so it turned out to be a 5 day turbo conversion....!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds loud and looks like it picks up quick. Nice :mrgreen:

Might have to heat wrap the clutch cable like we did with the throttle cable.

Looks like it woudl be a fun set up mate.
I reckon you should just go a water to air cooler and be done with it. Will look much more stealthy.

if it didnt come with an intercooler, it would definatly have gone water to air..
but i used what i had...


not much left to do now, battery box is mounted in the boot.

tomorrow im going to make up a shroud for the pod filter to try keep in line with whats on the engineers report..

i might remove the bumper on the weekend to paint it up to match the rest of the car and im thinking about spraying the intercooler and exposed pipework flat black to make it less obvious..??

im currently waiting for a boost controler so it can be pushed up to 10psi..
then start looking at getting it dyno tuned...

a mess? alot of hours went into them pipes. complicated is a better choice. filters under the guard actually pretty easy to get to. not at the moment. got everything for the right price. manifold free, turbos free cooler free. got to love mates! ill get some closeups tomoz. i dont wanna steal a thres. just proof of the 3 day conversion
