Option 5, figure out how to give yourself a foot job with your left leg, and work it up nice and strong.

Give them a call at Western Clutch Service at St Marys. They did the last clutch in the Mav and it seems to be working out pretty good. You might need a twin plate setup.
They will have some ideas out there.

na making it a weekender is not an option.. if i went that way i would be better off making it a dedicated track car.. i dont see the point in paying insurance and rego on a car ill bearly drive, then ill end up modifying the daily instead..
umm definatly not going less power.. are you high..lol..

up untill i got this clutch no matter how hard or soft it was on the pedal, they all slip once a bit of heat gets to them...

im in a catch22. i like driving manual but want the drivabillity a normal car can give while giving me the satisfaction of a performance car.. maybe im just getting fussy...lol

As far as i can see, the only difference between your plate and mine, is yours has a few more pads.....

Is it releasing properly, or does it clash occaisionally when changing up?? Mine seems worse when it's heated up, but doesn't do it all the time.......I'll put up with it, as it doesn't slip one bit.
I think a twin-plate would be worse, as it's the friction material, that gives the grip, not so much so the clamping force of the plate....

I should give you a go of mine to see if it's same as yours???

Cheers

Daz

yea malwood recomended the ace option 3 to suit au
• 10.5" Steel Flywheel
• 10.5" High Performance Pressure Plate
• 10.5" Insulated Sprung Cerametallic Plate
• Exchange Bellhousing
• Spigot Bearing
• Throw-out Bearing
• Flywheel and Pressure Plate Bolts

which is pretty much what i have now..

its releasing fine with no clash, the part that sux is trying to drive it sedately.
its either in or out, anything in between gives earthquake like shudder that would shake the car to pieces.
i assumed being cushion button it would atleast be moderate on drivability,
i would hate to see what a unsprung puck button is like...
