AU engine should be good for 300rwkw quite easy

Some BA turbos have thrown rods below that mark.... at around 12psi.

Just make sure you go to a good tuner...

If a good tuner starts off with a rich mix then it'll never throw rods as he progress up for max reliability.

When you double the power output of a motor which has not been decompressed, you have to expect the unexpected

as long as the tune is spot on and you don't add too much boost you should be ok for up to 300rwkw. This is what I have heard from other boost e-series owners.

That being said, that video really shows the superior power of a turbo setup. Great work once again Troy for doing it so dam quickly. How does it compare to the s/c?

If I could be assed I'd probably go down the turbo route myself. But I'd probably chuck a phoon motor and gearbox in instead.

as it is now, its running the supercharger tune and the afr is pretty good.
but its down on ignition timing as the supercharger had some timing pulled out due to no intercooler which= high intake temps....
now this set up has the intercooler but i havnt done a decent data log yet to see what intake temps are now..

anyway my boost controler turned up today.. so ill up the boost to 10psi.. :)

i also mannaged to make up a plastic cover for the pod filter, i think it looks like s**t? but it will do for now, and will be a good template to make one out of alloy...

10psi ftw.

Thats what Im running at the moment it goes really good. No traction rolling on the throttle in 2nd gear :o

Ive increased timing all over the board but am still playing it pretty safe over my supercharged tune until it goes on a dyno. I dont really think it needs a dyno tune to though. Its fine as is.

I think mine is missing a little at high rpm's on 10psi but its too fast to stay on the throttle and find out what the problem is. I suspect it is valve springs though.

Hahah, you'll expect that if you're the inpatient type... or lack of research.

in comparison to the supercharger, the charger had slightly better throttle responce and was very well spread out power building power as it reved..

where the turbo has heaps more mid range torque and is really strong all the way up..
