today i replaced the upper trailer arm bushes, fairly straight forward..
the old nolathane bushes were pretty flogged, the steel sleeve was as loose as a kings cross prostitute.lol. i used the same method as i did on the watts link.. all went well untill it started raining, nothing worse than laying on wet gravel while raining...never the less i wasnt going to let the rain stop me, all done and fitted.. and watts link... |

i went out to dazfab today to redo the hot side intercooler piping, reduced it from 3" to 2.5", not a huge result but a quit noticable responce in spool time..
so it did make a difference... ............................................................................................................ |

then disaster struck!!!!!!!!!
had an incident on the way home, i now hate ABS... the brakes didnt lock, but car didnt stop either.. had a car pull in front and jump on the brakes, i jumped on the brakes but the section of road was full of small potholes and was rutted, the abs decided it was going to release the brakes and i bum f**k the car in front... the bumper is toast, grill is cracked, passenger headlight bracket broken, bonnet is all bent, radiator suport is bent down and back.. intercooler has some damage but no holes, the receiver dryer has broken away from the bracket and has been pushed into the condenser, the condenser has been pushed into the radiator.. |

I have a few boxcar parts round. let me know if you want a rad support. I have one on hand that just needs to be cut out. other stuff is there, but not much of what you listed as damaged.
s**t news though. but good to hear your ok. I know what your feeling. Interested to see who get the blame, similar to my last bender. Cops and insurer found the person who cut me off at fault. So, its not all bad news, just a messy situation that does not need to happen. Wasn't a mazda 3 was it?

Wasn't a mazda 3 was it? no the other car wasnt even interested in stoping, a tongan guy got out had a quick look, jumped back in the car and they drove off like they just hit a pothole or something. i went after them and pulled up next to them, i said dont you want to stop?? they said no its ok and drove off.. they were in a 2006 toyota celica.. probably more damage to mine, but would cost more to fix theirs.. i drove it home ok everything is still operational just damaged.. except the radiator core has a pin hole from the thermo fans... |
