Standard eb bumper with cooler showing FTW .

Probably the only reason I'd own a box car is to show off the cooler

yep, the brakes were flushed and bled when i fitted new pads after the last track day, im thinking it just might be time for a new master cyl, as fluid goes black pretty fast within a month its near black again... i have been running castrol responce fluid..

could it be the heat soak breaking down the rubber seals in the master,plus old age?never seen the fliud turn black in a month,so im thinking bbq seals.

it definatly got more attention from everyone with intercooler hanging out..
even being engineered and legal i still rather not gain that extra attention...

Dump the fluid, the entire lot of it and go to bikebiz, get a {DESCRIPTION}

I assume you also have already got braided brake lines. good fluid makes a HUGE difference. plus its more resistant to burning, thats a very possible explanation of what your seeing.

that might be the go... i still might put a new master cyl anyway, the one on it is the original and the brakes have never been fantastic compared the the old ea..

A very good idea. going fast is good, being able to stop consistently is something else, more important.

is the old bar savable? it looks like a new top piece from a factory bumper should sort out the damage to it

no not salvagable, it has split the join where the 2 plastic bars were joined and all the fibreglass filler has cracked and seperated, to much work...

doesnt matter i had already bought this bar to replace the old one as i was getting bored with the plain look of the old bar...

I like this bar better than the old one , the old one had too much open-ness at the bottom .
