thanks,
i mean still, as in i never really finished shielding everything from the heat, there is always something new being effected from the heat, lol..

i must say after driving it today the braking has improved, before after 30-40 mins driving the brakes felt a little soft, even after fitting the new master cyl..
the master cyl would get that hot it was to hot to touch for more than a second or 2, almost as hot as the rocker cover..

Super neat job there bro. Dont know of this will help. But I have alot to do with boats. Most turbo diesel. Now boats have engines shoved in all sorts of hell holes. with no where near the oppertunity to obtain the air a car does. BUT they do have unlimited supply of cool coolant. Loads of boats have this very very effective asbestos looking fibreglass looking "Wrap"around the pipes downstream of the turbocharger. you can buy it. Its very expensive. IT is VERY VERY effective. you can touch it turbo under full load. for the small portion you would require it may be the answer. There is a place in Sans souci (sydney) that does it. if interested il track down for u. Regards Daz.

time for an update ...

i had noticed from time to time the dip stick randomly starting to lift around 15-18 psi..
so considering the only breather untill now was the small 8mm hole at the rear of the rocker cover, it was time to fit a proper catch can and add a temperary extra breather untill i get around to removing the rocker cover to get a fitting welded in..

a few pics..
running the extra breather from the filler cap using the second pcv in reverse, the excess crank case pressure pushes the 2nd pvc open allowing excess pressure out..

Hey Troyman,

I loved the idea with the dual PCV and was wondering if this only worthwhile if you are pushing larger psi ?
If I was to run a catch can could I get away with running both existing hoses to it, along with the pcv still installed and blocking up the hole in the BBM ?

it turns out there was no reall need for the two breathers,
i later found the fittings and hose to the catch can were to small, i upgraded the catch can hose with 1/2" hose and fittings and removed the 2nd breather and its all ok again..

i still run the factory pcv with a one way valve from a xr6t plus the rear breather with 1/2" hose and fittings...
