Hey guys,

i picked up this 93 TX5 Ghia Quad Cam Manual for $300 not running

got it for something to muck around with.

Firstly i could not get a spark from the spark plugs so i took them out and oil poured out of the block ( my thought was she is fkd )

i have been just pulling bits off and having a look,

i most likely want to source a second hand motor for it.

one of my concerns was the cam gear does not look right, if any of u guys know what your looking at i have put a pic up, let me know,

also if anyone has any tips with these motors i would love to hear them coz i got no fkn idea.

Thanks

ok

spent a few days on the car and have pulled the motor out,

now geting it ready for a rebuild but i cant get the crank bolt off,

the head gasket had a nice crack in it and as you can see the pisons were full of sh%t

gave it all a good clean and its starting to look good.

pics tell the story
