OK

its about time i made this thread lol had the car for over a year now

This is how i bought it in november 2007

Image
Image

as u can see its very plain but it had some decent rims, a spoiler and was black

i rly liked it

i picked it up for 5700

the day i got it i put the dark chrome altezza lights on it
Image

then later that day i went down to jb-hifi and picked up an audioline amp and a cadince sub and some 5x7 pioneers
Image

also got a pioneer head unit and a little neon to fill the gap which slipped in perfectly
Image

the next mod didnt really come until late feb 2008 which wat just a plain old catback redback exhaust with one muffler and an oval tip similar to the ba xr6

and in july i finally got around to finishing off the system
which consisted of pacemaker extractors and a manaflow cat

i was pretty wrapped with the note it produced it was very loud and very aggesive but droned a fair bit at times

heres a nice pic

Image

also u might notice the red neons in some pictures they were put on at this time also

also upgraded the front speakers to pioneer 6 1/2" splits they were 400 down to 200 so i got a bit of a bargan

also that night went and got my ba xr6t snorkal which was much much much bigger and better that the stock one noticed the difference straight away

day after i picked up the xr6 snorkal i went and got a drift pod filter from autobarn and got it set up to be inside the box so it would still be able to get all its air from outside of the car, didnt want any hot air from the engine. it did its little part noticed a little increase

ok now onto the dumbest thing done to this car........
i was working in a factoy in clayton once day and saw an au the same as mine except blood red
it had the rims painter black like the dark agent rims and it looked fairly good

so it gave me and idea and long story short it came out like this
Image

yes shocking and disturbing i know but me and my mate were bored out of our brains and needed something to do

to bad we decided to decocrate the car.......

anyway a few short weeks after the rims inccident i took the car to go in for a tune it took them 7 hours and half a tank of fuel but they got it up from 108.3 RWK to 138.9 RWK

which left me totally stoked i was wrapped

a few days after i had gotten the tune i got sick of looking at the stock grill so me and kenay made a custone one

heres a pic
Image
i thought it looked pretty good for a 20$ job

neway pretty much a week after getting the tune done i lost my job as a labourer so i had no money at all for a while

october was cummin round and i found a new job and more money

thought i would do a few little things so i modified the cluster and now it looks like this
Image

started to save up a bit because i was goin away on holiday early december but saving was short lived when i spotted on ford forums 17" AU XR8 Rims with tickford centre caps for $250. My mouth literally dropped, i was second to post on them the 1st guy said is there any gutter rush i said ill come pick them up tomorow lol while i was at the blokes place the next day i was only there about 20 mins he got 3 calls asking if they were still avalable and i just laughed as i loaded them into my car

and heres the results

Image

1 week later the alternator dies on me 200$ to replace
i end up with s**t all holiday money regret buying rims (until a bit later)

also in the same week my sub box came off its mounting brackets and took out 1 of my rear speakers when it did so i went out and bought the best 5x7 around lol well the olny ones which were cadince 5x7 they cost 100

ok got back from holiday worked my a** off payin off a bit of holiday debt lol
ended up bein an awesome holiday though

a few days before chrismas my mum says to me ok what do ya want for christmas i said money she says id rather have somethin under the tree and handed me 500$ and said go get yourself sumthin nice.

spoke to kenay he suggested springs i said sweet lets do it. got ultras for the rears and supers for the front and monroe gt gas lowered shockers all round

put them on a few days b4 new years and heres the result

Image
Image
Image
Image

and at that moment i never realised how much i love the rims and didnt regret buying them 1 tiny bit

but since then not much has been done really except for the resinator i got put on today. it took away all the drone and gave it a brilliant note

And heres some nice pics taken by kenay just a few days ago hes pretty dam good with that camera
Image
Image

lol newya hope u enjoyed i will keep this up to date now i think brake are gettin done on the 15th of jan so maby ill paint the callipers we'll see

Always loved the grille in this thing.

And that Clay bar sure did the job, the paint looks much better now.

It has come a long way.

Jeez thats nice. Perfect choice of wheels, mods, everything. Looks great. Very understated.

Black interior time!

Can paint all the trims, get black AU seats and a momo black leather wheel and shifter!

Just an idea.
