Those SMD LED strips sure are bright. I might grab a pair to light up the back cargo area of the wagon. I could stick them up along the top of the side windows.

Cheers

Ben,

They are brilliant... I have since discovered that the SMD 5050 LED's are the brightest of the most commonly available LED's hence why they are this way...

I might buy a 5 metre roll next and see what its like, I'll use it to do my boot, plus a mate has a speedway car and he wants an interior light so these will be brilliant...

Cheers,
Tim

Na my cluster is quite bright enough thanks all the same...

I have 5x LED 5050 SMD's in t10 to light up my cluster...

Like these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-pcs-12 ... ccessories

These are that bright its not funny either... I have just ordered a new interior light that has 5050 SMD's...

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... K:MEWNX:IT

So that one is cheap enough... See if it helps compensate for the footwell lights... I got the other one in today so I'll get a pic or two of the pair of them shortly...

Cheers,
Tim

Those lights are awesome Tim. I can see a new cabin light for the Mav being made. Along with boot and interior of the XR8 , and the lane (if I dont burn it first!).
You should hit the seller up for a commision!

ahh its ok... I'm gonna save a fortune next time and get a 5M roll I think...

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/12V-5M-500CM-whi ... 1c128fc990

Still has the rubber coating... More LED's per meter (60 instead of 40)... Still SMD 5050's... You can cut at the intervals marked and solder wires to the outter terminals and make as many lengths as you want (Unsure if you have to remove rubber to be able to solder to them or whether there is no rubber and you can straight solder on the back...) I'll work that out when I get some

A pic of them not illuminated is here:

Much cheaper option... Is you Buy It Now only 16.6/m where I bought .3m for 15 bucks plus post before... Plus you can offer less and see if you can get it cheaper... Be good if you planning on using a few meters of it anyway... Might save you guys some money...

Cheers,
Tim
