A turbo can give you 15psi at 2500 to 5500rpm, a raptor charger might give you 5-6 psi at 2500 and 15psi at 5500rpm if its belts dont break. Which do you think will be nicer to drive? |

As a point of sanity and 'dad'ness. You've got a pov pack Falcon, you want an XR6T. Don't waste money on the n/a it could be better spent getting a T later on down the track.
You could spend a fortune on it, and a stocker xr6t will still blow you away.

how many people spend a lot of money on their n/a 6 thinking it will keep them happy for awhile, only to sell it for peanuts soon after |

A valid point indeed... i can confirm that. i went from a centrifugal charger to a turbo on the same car and i would never go back to a centri charger after having the turbo... |

higher interest than the banks, and the early payout of a loan incurs break fees to their reasonable discretion Also they have monthly fees and higher than average loan processing fee. Also customer service non existant. However miss or be late with one payment, and expect to have hired hicks to show up at your work, at home, ring in middle of the night asking for their money try heritage building society..... 10.85% interest on a <5 year old car, no monthly fees, and loan can be payed out anytime. Also if your ahead on payments, these can be redrawn if you wish. Or you can use your excess payments to have your loan capitalized so the weekly/monthly repayment amount is reduced down to what you need to pay the loan off in the contract period |

Yeah, well this guy *points to self* went with them now I'm in a contract with them for $22k I was told when I got it that I could pay out the loan on the 366th day with no early exit fees etc. Hopefully that's the case, because then I can go to a Ford dealer and use her as a trade in and get an XR6T. I'll confirm that in B/H tomorrow with them and hopefully I don't get shafted with any surprises!

you will defintely pay a break fee, nearly all fixed rate loans incur these charges

Yeah I'll give them a call tomorrow on B/H and make sure I'm sitting down when I talk to them.
I blame Australian Fleet Sales - they pressured me into the buy... Before you start, I know about AFS and how s**t they are... Trust me, I know.

Yeah I called Hume and he quoted me $1300 for the EXACT same system Liverpool Exhaust wanted to charge me $1600 for. Are Liverpool Exhaust's welds $300 better than Hume's, or are they charging off their name?

With a big joint you always have to pay more just the size of the workshops alone tells you they'd have heaps of overhead costs to cover.
