Cool! Definitely be watching this thread with interest. Reckon the smoke was from all the oil sneaking past the rings or just all the fuel thrown in there?

A former boss of mine has a rodeo with commy V6 engine backed up by a 6 speed manual from a Lexus IS200. Gruntier and more economical than the stock rodeo V6.

a bloke i know had a twin turbo navara/commodore v6 conversion with the commo auto behind it, but not long after he bought it he had issues with the motor and droped a standard vr motor in it without the snails, used to go well in standard vr v6 form

My old boss did have sump issues which resorted to him making a sheet metal sump out of a cardboard template.
