F**k. when you have to go to nick-a-part wreckers to get something else, just take them off the car with them and "borrow" them

Nice work dude, the cooler looks great mounted up. I didn't realize there was s**t loads of room behind the bumper in the AU , if you ever went the boosted path you could fit a decent sized FMIC right there

Looks great, very tidy. Doesn't it s**t you though how they painted the bays flat black?
Did they delete the coolant level sensor in the later models? Pretty sure our AU1 has it. |

Nice work man, engine bay look super clean!! Those polished spears on the rocker cover look tops when polished, goes well with the other polished bits. Good to see the turbo snorkel fitted up, the original one look plain old stupid next to it haha

The VCT 6's are quite nice as they are.
With the coolant sensor, must have just been another cost cutting thing. All the AU I6's have the "Fail Safe Cooling". Looking forward to seeing what you do with this. |

{USERNAME} wrote: Ash lol yeah wouldnt mind a manual V8 Ghia, but i could forsee alot of money being spent getting it to run like it was factory slo247, Ford cost cutting?..... never !! And to all the people having a whinge about ford moving to an all wheel drive system, i have a great new respect for them. Today i got bogged in my own backyard nearly a foot in mud (after failed attempts rocking the car) that looked like solid ground ...... we used the missus mighty 92kw Impreza to pull out the AU, and it didnt spin a wheel doing it even though was sitting in the same ground manual V8's aren't that great! infact, moine will be for sale soon! I'm making the jump to an I6T withing the next year, and it won't be from the Ford stable!
