The trims do differ. The wood is different & the leather isn't perforated (I think that's the word). I managed to get a replacement trim, just needs a good clean.

Thanks for the pics. Those are good looking trims too!

Cheers

I know that they are different (woodgrain pattern as well), but from your picture I cant say that they dont have perforated leather.

Id agree here - the LTD has perforated leather (the pinholes in the leather around the door opener) - and the ones were talking about (GT?) dont

... mine is the same.

That's what i was talking about, the little holes sunk into the leather, sort of like the holes on the velour trims. The ones i have are swb EB2 / ED Ghia spec, no little holes, also found on the GT, with a GT badge instead of a ghia badge.

Cheers

I have not read the tag just yet. But i will assume it's 3.27, which is what it's supposed to be for that car, until i get under & read the tag, we will go with 3.27 ok? lol.

I took it for a test drive tonight. Engine is quiet & smooth, good compression. Auto shifts really really well, and the LSD is nice & tight. All in all a great package.

If it's a 3.45 LSD i think i will keep it, and sell my 3.27 from my Green Ghia.

Oh yeah, new rims & brand new rubber, probably to go on the white Xr8.

Tight as in it hooks up when it should, slips when it should. Not loose like a lot of them are getting. No rattles, whines or noises. Just smooth operation.

CSA Prowlers are a great wheel choice for the boxcars.

Just check them carefully for cracks, as they are known for it.

Cheers

Hey BenJ,

I think so too. I picked them up with my newest parts car, pretty happy with the deal overall. I'm leaning towards putting them on my Xr8...

I had a look over them, from the outside i can't see any cracks at all, is there a spot i should be checking specifically? The tyres have not gone down lol.

Cheers

The spokes are the place to be checking. One of mine has a crack at the end of the spoke where it attaches to the rim.

I only noticed while washing the car one day.

I have now got a replacement.

Cheers
