But to get that I need the service line changed & a set of 21lb injectors, which is over $1200 of injectors. Doesn't really sound worth it. I know someone with a Xr6 with straight LPG injection, using impco/brc gear, and it's got a wolf ecu running it, and getting some boost this year too. The injectors are about 70lb iirc. It's a custom built system, and big $$$. Huggie, best to go gas research if you wanna turbo the LTD. Easy bolt on of the TB, not many mods to the car & then you can get some boost shoved down it's throat. Cheers ToranaGuy

Well well, I have the new gas injector fit, gave the car an auto tune & took it for a drive. Running rich, but it run acceptable. Today at lunchtime I gave the fuel mixture a manual trim, and it's running a bit better, but it won't idle with the a/c on. Not sure why, going to ask the guys at the gas joint what they think about it.
I know I probably need to change some vac hoses, and the gas regulartor probably needs a new kit thru it too. I must say, it pulls fairly well on LPG now. Better than it has in a long time. I know my issue isn't ignition related, has new leads, plugs, dizzy cap & rotor button. Just replaced the coil too. So all is 100% in that department. It might be an electrical gremlin as to why it won't idle with the a/c on. With it off, it idles, rough but it does idle. Might also be time to clean the idle air bypass again too. Cheers ToranaGuy

I've registered to display the EB Ghia @ the AFD this year. Should be fun, but now I need to tidy up a few things before the big day lol.

I'm my own worst enemy when it comes to things like that. Always have something to do, always doing something...... Had a power failure tonight, without power for over 2 hours so I couldn't do anything in the shed.  Ah well, as long as it's not to bad of weather this w/e I will get a bit done. Got a few domestic chores done that didn't require the power to be on. Now it's back on, I will see about watching some vid's on youtube about rebuilding injectors, I can get a set of kits very cheaply, so I might rebuild a set of petrol injectors for the Ghia soon..... Yeah, slowly coming together. Going to hunt down a spot weld drill bit to see if I can get the job done on the red Xr8 quicker. I've got the front bar off the Ghia today and rubbed it back, and started the fill work on the cracks & big chips in it. I have managed to re-align the drivers side guard so the top matches the edge on the bonnet, looks much better now. Also had a dig around the engine back checking out the hoses, as I have what seems to be an intermittent vacuum issue. Think I found it, rocker cover breather hose is warn to about 1mm thick in one spot. Will look at picking one up on monday to hopefully solve my drive-ability issues. Try http://www.teammightyboy.com . There is a gallery & forums over there. I know a fair few of the regulars on there, good blokes & girls. As for the injectors, it doesn't look so hard to do. I have been a busy boy. Picked up a spot weld drill bit & some extra tips for $44.95, not too bad really. Shop down the road wanted $60 for the same deal. Bugger that. Also have the front bar off the EB Ghia & it's 90% rubbed back, there was so many layers of paint it could have patched the hole in the titanic & stopped it sinking!
Just need to do a little more, but the weather has stopped me tonight. Will finish that tomorrow after work, and if conditions are right, lay down some primer on it. Also dropped into the exhaust shop today, got a quote of $200 for the mighty boy, stick a flange on the current engine pipe, then a 2.5" system with a hot dog in the middle, and a 2 outlet sports muffler with 2 tail pipes. Yeah, it will be a little wanky, maybe even loose a little power down low, maybe not due to small engine pipe, but it will be pretty good for the turbo setup later. Should be booking that in early next week. I'll also loose the spare wheel under the tray, but I have another idea or two of where to put it.  A shot taken before I started. Got the guard lined up pretty good with the bonnet on the drivers side now, should have been done like this when it was at the panel shop.   Cheers ToranaGuy

Got a quote for the exhaust on the mighty boy from the exhaust shop literally next door to work, was really good value, so it's booked in on Wednesday to get a new exhaust, that will unleash a kilowatt or two from the f8b lol, the old exhaust is tiny & the hot dog is falling apart, which isn't good for flow, power or economy. Will get some pics of the new exhaust when it's done.
Got some painting done on the Ghia today. Top of the drivers side door looks heaps better, altho not perfect, it's a huge improvement over chipped paint & bubbling clear coat. Front bar still needs work, hoping to finish the prep tomorrow after work. Cheers ToranaGuy
