Been a busy boy I have. Have got the following done, but there is still work to do before Sunday!

New exhaust on the mighty boy, man it sounds good & tough
Both mirrors for the EB Ghia are painted & ready to go on.
C pillar cap is ready to go on.
Front bar is now ready for paint tomorrow evening
Half way thru dropping ultra low's into the front of the Ghia

Still a bit to do tho, like get the front bar painted & on the car. Fit the other ultra low, fit the new gearbox mount & some new vac lines. Give the newly painted bits a good buff. Clean the interior. Fix up some make shift LPG Injection wiring......

Now it's starting to push s**t up hill!

Cheers

ToranaGuy

Made it to the AFD day, altho I would have liked the car to been in better shape, it was still in pretty good shape. Had a good day, but managed to get wind burnt, it's hurting like a b**ch atm.

Cheers

Thx Brenton, I got wind burnt badly on the face too. Was good to catch up again. Only negative comment I got was "it has the wrong side skirts" and I just lol'd at that. He was right tho. A fair few ppl commented about seeing the car on Fordmods or around the streets, and there was even a few people that are customers at work that were surprised it was mine.

I got a few comments saying how good the seats were, if you had a look at the other car's with the full leather, especially the drivers seats, they were all rather shabby in comparison to mine.

Your right, my EB Ghia ain't bad for a daily drive (esp having almost 450,000 on it), and might get a little better by next year, now the mighty boy is proven reliable as daily transport when required lol. ;-)

Cheers

Not looking too shabby. :-)

Here's a couple of pics of the new exhaust on the mighty boy.

And.....
Image

It's a 2.5inch system from the firewall back, thru a hotdog and over the rear axle, into a twin outlet muffler & then 2x 2.5inch pipes with chrome tips to let the exhaust gas out. No fake wank pipe here, they are both hooked up.

Cheers

Q. What do you call a Mighty Boy with dual exhausts?

A. A wheelbarrow!

Nah, it looks good man, good to see it's hooked up, not a fake drain pipe like many around....
The EB scrubbed up nice, very tidy. 8-)

Looks very good for the amount of time you had to get it there!
Get the bar polished and she'll be beautiful...
Love the mighty boy, twin pipes look great.

Cheers

Thanks guys. :-) If i had a big enough block of land I'd own a mighty boy to be a wheelbarrow!

Thought a few of you would like the exhaust. Just gotta work out how to post video to photobucket & I can post up one of the sound. Sounds tough for such a tiny motor lol.

I might be picking up another mighty boy to turn into a mighty trailer lol. It's pretty shabby, but would be good for a few bits & turning into a trailer.

I'll get under the mighty boy soon & post a pic of the pipe work, lots of custom bending was done to get it in there. Some of the welding isn't the neatest, but it's not a show car with mirrors under it, it's bloody street driven, not so frequently washed ute.

As for your comment huggie, "needs more cooler"? I don't get it! I'd liked to have had time to do the grey bit on the mirrors a gloss black & to repaint my wiper arms, but time was tight. All little things I'd like to do once a few other things are taken care of.

Cheers

ROFL. Now I see what you meant by that post. Yeah, I'd love to boost it, but the funds required to do that would see my Xr8 & my Panel Van finished, so I can enjoy them too. Also need to boost the mighty boy first I think. The Torana will be boosted when it's back on the road too, just remember.

I'm seriously thinking about joining the local collectible car club to enable the pano to get club rego, so it won't cost me too much to enjoy it during summers. One of my workmates is in it with a HQ Panel Van. :D

Cheers

That's what I'm thinking, 90 days should be enough to enjoy the van, would only need to service the thing once a year lol.

Cheers
