Took a couple more pics of the mighty boy's exhaust this arvo, just having a lazy day doing a little cleaning up & a little drinking, before the fireworks tonight.
Muffler.... Sounds pretty good when driving, rather loud when you get up it, and bloody loud @ freeway speeds lol. Turbo will quieten it down. That's a little ways off yet tho. Cheers ToranaGuy

Tomorrow I have some time, will get around to tidying it up, maybe cutting up some of those boot plastics I don't need & sticking them in the bin lol. Cheers ToranaGuy

Yeap. Normally the junk sits inside the car being wrecked, but I've been pulling stuff out of it lately that I need or mates need, and the junk ended up staying outside for now lol.
After lunch I will do a little cleanup. What do you think of the pics of the exhaust on the mighty boy? Cheers ToranaGuy

Haha i think its hilarious that the mighty boy has the same size exhaust as my car! (in a good way of course) The thing must be super free flowing!
Love the twins round the diff *drool* If only there was the room on e series for it... Cheers Sam

It is pretty free flowing, hasn't hurt torque down low either, as it still has the stock engine pipe, which is 1 & 3/4 or there abouts. Cheers ToranaGuy

Yay for hoarding parts to do jobs with. I won a clutch fork on Ebay for reasonable money, so now I just need to get a gearbox kit to rebuild the box for the torry, and a clutch kit before the running gear is ready to go back in.
Also picked up a set of fairmont door trims for my mums ED tonight, so I can get that power window conversion done soon, and not have the gear lying around my house & shed lol. Found a couple of parts that I should put on the forums or ebay to sell as well. Might take some pics over the w/e and get a few up, make some room here. Cheers ToranaGuy

Fixed a leaking hose on the Eb Ghia the other day, the tool I bought for the spring type hose clamps is magic, so easy to use, makes the job so much quicker!
Also been busy working on the red Xr8, removing the rad support that is bent so I can fit a new one. Still have to remove some of the passenger side, waiting for the sun to start going down, now that I'm home from work today. It's too hot out there in the sun & I'll burn like a b**ch (again lol). Cheers ToranaGuy

Got home from work tonight & have done a little more on the red xr8. Removed the last of the top of the rad support, and bent the inner guards back into a more normal position. Managed to move the drivers rail a little, but still have to remove the bottom of the rad support & finish bending the drivers rail into shape. A fair bit of work ahead.
No pics right now, too hard to take any decent pics with my phone, and I don't own a digi camera anymore, my old one s**t itself recently. Time for a beer, then back into it. Cheers ToranaGuy

Been a little busy, have collected a new gearbox for the mighty boy, but opps I did it again, there seems to be more than just a gearbox sitting in the corner of my yard. It seems to have a red & rather rusty mighty boy attached to it, lol.
Yay for buying parts car's for 1 part. Yep one part, that is rather hard to get. Not a straight panel on it, which is a shame. I'm thinking about cutting it up & using the tub as a "Mighty Trailer" or "Mighty BBQ", tow it behind the mighty boy lol. Cheers ToranaGuy

as i said on facebook, a mighty trailer would be awesome... 2 electric motors and you wouldnt even feel the trailer behind it either that or a big elastic band...

Yeah, a mighty trailer would be cool. Pitty I can't get it done before the cruise this w/e. Ah well, soon. Need to test out my new stick welder anyway, what better way than building a trailer? I will just turbo the mighty boy, won't feel it behind it then. I'm wondering if I should fit up a hydraulic brake hitch so I can use the brakes on the axle of the trailer? I know the trailer isn't heavy, but I'm thinking with the trailer & a few bits in it, then stuff in the ute tub, I would be over the 315kg pay load the rear springs & brakes are designed for. It was never designed to have a trailer attached, so it will probably be a good idea to use the "trailers brakes" too. I have a new set of rear springs that I think are rated to 500kg payload. Cheers ToranaGuy
