yeah leave the rear wheel assay in place and rig up the brake hitch to the hand brake setup. easy as!

Why rig it up to the hand brake setup? Easier to just fit a hydraulic hitch & plumb it up to the wheel cylinders, these things are drum brake rear ends after all.

I already have the tools to do the correct flares for brake lines.

Cheers

i wonder how hard it would be to rig up a brake setup on a normal trailer... my dads is a normal trailer but id love to hook up a set of brakes to it.

Not all that hard, need stub axles designed to run with brakes tho, and a hydraulic over-ride hitch, then plumb up the line. Do a little reading about it online. ;-)

Cheers

Had a ball last weekend, p****d off on friday for 3 days of cruising, talking s**t with other mighty boy owners, eating, drinking & a tiny bit of sleep. Was great!

Vic owners cruised up to Albury, some Sydney & NSW owners cruised down, and we drove around all weekend. There were some turbo boy's, a supercharged boy, lots of great driving, good weather for it. Also had some funny moments like parking 5 mighty boy's in 3 parking bays in Albury on Saturday night, in front of some pubs & coffee shops.

I'm currently uploading some pics to photobucket, will link to them shortly.

Cheers

Cool. I plan on getting mine turbocharged, hoping to have the final bits by the end of the year, if all goes well.

Cheers

A mate of mine, Tez, come over & we ripped the f8b engine out of the red mighty boy. It's now sold and gone, and I'm a little richer again. Got more to strip off it before some of it goes to the scrap yard......

Currently doing a service & starting the power window upgrade on my mums ED Futura. Having issues, thread in the interior mods section.....

Cheers

Re carparking.

If you did happen to park two per space I feel the Wellington NZ parkingnazi's would charge ya fifty notes for failing to pay for the park even though the other 'boy paid.

Classic stuff. You are a true enthusiast and a pretend mad man.

lol there. Lucky it wasn't metered parking, because they probably woulda booked half us anyway. Parking Nazi's!

I got the service finished on my mums ED yesterday, to learn the power window fuse doesn't actually get power to it. Bugger. Maybe next weekend I will route some power as per Troyman's suggestion & see how it goes. If all is well, I will get another door or two done.

I had a sane thought during my daily madness, and thought that I should get a large car cover for my panel van, kick it out to the front yard, then I would have some shed space to paint some bits up. First I have to buy a new lawn/car park mower, then I can get a cover for the pano. But it can't go outside until I have scrapped the red mighty boy & silver EB parts car's..... I have my work cut out for me. Anyway, back to the shed.....

Cheers
