I did have a vid of it, but the carby isn't in too great of shape, so until I rebuild it, I won't be posting up another. Let's just say it has a nice rumble to it at idle, and it's almost deafening when blasting down the freeway, lol.

Cheers

Was thinking about doing some work to the rad support on the Xr8 tonight after work, but it was dark by the time I got home. :-( I'm not liking no daylight savings! Might have to wait until this weekend to get some work done on it, but I also have to find some time to cleanup some crap that needs to go to the tip before I can load up a car a mate is wrecking, for a trip to the scrap yard.....

I still need to pull the rail straight on the Xr8 before I can weld on the new rad support.

Going to be another busy weekend I think. Anyway, back to replying to PM's in regards to parts for sale on here, and the mighty boy forums.

Cheers

The yellow one is, has 51.7 kw at the front wheels. Next is probably the blue supercharged one.

Cheers

FFS! Come out from work today to find some a***hole has hit my Eb Ghia! Rear bar is now cracked in multiple places & needing loads of work before it will look reasonable again. At least it's only the rear bar. Still going to cost me a couple of hundred in materials (like paint, fiberglass, filler & so on) to repair it........money better spent on other jobs.

Also really needing a new T5 for the Ghia, getting rather sick of the bearing whine in this one, but don't have time to rebuild it atm. Currently in negotiations to buy another box.

Cheers

Thanks Ben, you have had more than your share of setbacks like this as well. It's really disheartening when you slog your guts out all day, to come out & find something like this.... .ah well, it guess it's an excuse to paint the bar up, so it looks better than it did before....

In regards to the hydraulic clutch setup, I have not been able to find any parts that look suitable other than the hilux/hiace gear. Having said that, been rather busy & not spent too much time talking with the PBR reps or checking thru the books. Wish I had the money to take the plunge & do the conversion, the hydraulic clutch in my g/f's car is so nice to use in comparison to the EB!

Cheers

Been busy going thru a few car parts I don't require anymore, and listing a couple of them on Ebay, the rest I have created listings with Turbo Lister, probably list up next weekend. No ford parts atm, but I have a lot of spares, so if anyone is after something from a EA to ED, pm me.

Hopefully I can get a few bucks towards the materials I will need to fix my rear bar.

Otherwise, I bought a new mower today, as my old one died a couple of weeks ago. It will be so nice having a new mower that works properly to mow my car park with lol. OH yeah, and the nature strip & the front & back lawns too...

Cheers

Thanks man. It's a handle I've had for about 14 years now. :D If I could get a couple of other I guess more important things done, I could find some time to work on my torry..... It doesn't really cost me anything for it to just sit there waiting on me tho.

Cheers

Been busy playing with a few things, I have done my H4 headlight conversion on the mighty boy, man, it's nice to be able to see when driving at night! Also replaced a vac hose on the EB Ghia, now it's running better.

Also done the first stage of repairs on the 2nd grill for the mighty boy. Lots still to do on that front.

Cheers

Have organized a "new" second hand but good T5 gearbox from a mate who runs a wrecking yard, to drop into the EB Ghia, should be taking delivery of it tomorrow, and hopefully weather pending fit it up over this long weekend. I'm so sick of the bearing noise, driving me bonkers!

Its apparently a EA s1 gearbox, so no syncro on reverse & slightly different gearing, but I can cope with that until I rebuild my current box. Too many things to work on atm, so I think swapping in another box is much more time effective over rebuilding my current box just now. It will go into the shed to be rebuilt at a later date.....

Also got some interest in a couple things I have on eBay atm, here's hoping they sell. While diging thru the spare parts tonight I found a pair of 14x6 steel wheels to suit my panel van, I might have to get some tyres for them so I can send the monaro rims I have away for repairs.

Cheers

What diff ratio are you running?f

An EA T5 combined with a 3.27 diff will give the same effective ratio as an EBII T5 and a 3.45 diff. I have the EA-3.27 combination in my wagon, and it does make it sprightly off the line.

5th gear is also different and sits approx 200rpm higher at 100kph.

Cheers
