Even the Kmac camber kits have poly bushes in them, but they are getting tired, they were done before I bought the car. Time for a nolathane kit I think. Made the handling so much tighter, and they have all been in there for over 3 years now. There was a couple of dudes experimenting with poly bushes for the front end of the mighty boy, but they are not yet certain what duro poly to use.Testing a couple different hardness bushes. I'd love a rear sway bar & a fatter front bar for the little ute. Nothing available unless it's a one off custom tho. Cheers ToranaGuy

Yeah man, I liked that comment a lot! I've had 250kg of batteries I carted off to scarp in the back, was riding almost on the bump stops lol.
It's handling a lot better now with the new springs, I'm pleased with the results, just need to save for new shocks now. In regards to the custom sway bar, I was quoted about $650ish. Expensive but not too bad I guess? Cheers ToranaGuy

Picked up a T5 in decent shape but needs a rebuild, will be cleaning it & opening it up soon to make sure it only needs bearings & rings. Now I just need to get a rebuild kit for it. Not exactly what I wanted, but it is a late XH box, so worth rebuilding.
Cheers ToranaGuy

Cleaned up the T5 with a steam cleaner on Saturday, it's a lot cleaner & ready to be inspected. First glance is that it needs a new nose on it where the throw out bearing runs, this one is so worn it's f**k beyond use! Otherwise the box spins & doesn't feel too bad....
On the way home from Bendigo tonight, the alternator started to play up, only pumping out 11volts. Or is it my harmonic balancer? Probably the alternator, car is running cool enough still. Dunno, will check it out in the next few days. I have a spare balancer & alternator here, so not the end of the world I guess. Cheers ToranaGuy

Replaced the alternator with a spare after work & tightened up the a/c belt, as it's tensioner had come loose, and all is good with the EB Ghia for now. Driveable again.
Still not sure what is up with the mighty boy, might have to wait for the weekend & daylight to work that one out. Cheers ToranaGuy

I have a spare set of working leads and a couple coils to test first. I really don't have the time to get the efi conversion running just yet. Where's the long hot summer nights gone? I wanna work on my car all night again! Cheers ToranaGuy

huggiebear wrote: im thinking its the coil.falcons seem to do the same. fine on idle then short out under load Could very well be. I have a couple of spares in the shed still. The mighty boy has a 3 terminal coil, 2+ and one - post, but you can install a 2 post coil, as I currently have fit. Too cold to play with it tonight, and still need to work out a heater for my shed, as well as some rubber to block the air gap on the front door, it's very drafty on a windy night like tonight! Cheers ToranaGuy
