I got a tad lazy today & ordered a set of spares, washers & bolts for the power steering bracket off Ebay, $32 bucks delivered. I know I could have worked it out & made it for about $10, but the time involved, well that can be better spent atm.

Cheers

G'Day mate,
What sort of tester is it? Did you got it from Muzza?
Thanks

I can't remember who I got it from. I'll take a pic & post it up shortly.

Edit TFI-SIM was from TimmyA, the OBD scanner tool was from Muzza. I bought both, very handy tools! Already saved me heaps of time & money. I even used it at work, demonstrated it to the mechanic next door & he was very impressed with both the tools, their quality, easy to use & quick!

I didn't attend the C4C due to the EB Ghia being a b**ch of late, it's just not running great, so to make good use of the day, scrapped the silver EB. Let's just say it was an "uplifting" experience lol. Crane truck FTW!

If only. The car's get stacked up at the back of the lot & Then once they have a few truck loads they crush them down, stack em on a semi & off to sims metal they go.

What you think of the crane job? Makes for easy moving of scrapped cars lol. The roof was supporting 640 odd kg thru the corners of the pillars. That's a tuff roof the falcon has!

Cheers

yeah.... Seen a stack of cars or two and is interesting that some cars can hold the weight of plenty of others on the roofs without flattening themselves....

Hope all is well TGuy. Keep up the good work.

Things are as good as they can be, I'm planning on keeping up the good work lol.

So Thursday night I decided to fix the alternator belt squeal, and to give the LPG a tune, now I've eliminated the vac leak & it has a new dizzy. It's driving heaps better on LPG now. Took it for a good drive, next on the list is the stripped thread on the sway bar link pin, that needs to be fixed soon.

I should also give it a oil, filters & plugs service this weekend if the weather is good enough. Somewhere I might also find time to work on a little something for the mighty boy too.....

Cheers

Been a buzy little beaver, buying & selling some ford parts to help make the projects happen. Also received a couple of small things off ebay to help get some stuff done.

Not much more else to say for the moment, I'll update a few pics shortly.

Cheers

Done the upper control arm bushes in the Eb Ghia over the last couple of nights. Also found a worn top ball joint. I've got a stub in the shed with brand new ball joints on it, just need to find it & swap it over.

Image

Having Nolathane kits in the car already, made the job fairly quick & easy, as well as fairly cheap, thanks to staff discount @ repco lol. Helps make up for the crappy pay.

Also bought myself an "Engine Support Beam", to do the sub frame job in the white Xr8. Will come in handy for engine mounts as well down the track.

Image

Had a little fun in the Xr8 when moving it recently.....Opps I did it again... I dropped the clutch

Image

The s**t stops when the clutch drops.....no single spinner hero stuff here.

Cheers

Bought this recently......Didn't exactly need it, but man, it come up at a very good price, so why not eh?

Image

Yep, that means I now have 2 xr nose cone setups. Just need a new indicator lense on the first one & a couple of plastic clips, then both are in great shape, looks like both Xr8's will get the "sports lights" lol.

Cheers
