lol Sorry dude. I still need the impco 425, but the manifold & throttle base plate will be up for grabs soon.

Cheers

Picked up a new set of injectors for the EB Ghia, still haven't found time to put them in. Maybe this weekend. Man life is busy, I've done a lot of running around & sorting stuff this week, not too much actual work going on tho. :-(

Just hope the weather is fine this weekend....

Cheers

Got stuck into the red Xr8 today, got the plenum on, hooked up almost all the hoses, fit the gas converter, swapped over a non leaky power steer pump, fit the high pressure line with a new teflon o-ring, fit the reco low pressure line, yada yada. Getting close to having it running.

Image

Here is a shot of the low pressure power steer hose reco'd by Pirtek in Laverton. Dropped in one morning before work & had it done while I wanted. Didn't even cost $35!
Image

Also fit the injectors to the EB Ghia. I need to do a ECU reset I think, it starts & runs a lot better but still not great. More work to be done just yet lol.

Hoping the rain buggers off tomorrow & leaves me a nice fine day, so I can get some finishing touches on the Xr8 done.

Cheers

uniacidz,

Cool. I've gotta go out & get lunch shortly, then I might do a reset & see what happens. I should also check & see if I've still got fuel pressure in the rail too, as it might not have been only an injector that was leaking, it could be a fpr as well. You get these things with older car's....

Cheers

Got a few more little bits sorted on the Xr8 today, but it's still not quite ready to run yet. Soon....

Also, shameless plug, I've got stuff, car related on eBay for sale - http://www.ebay.com.au/sch/toranaguy/m. ... m=&_ipg=25

I hope to sell these items to help get some coin to continue on with the projects. These items are surplus to my needs. Cheap Cheap! lol.

Cheers

I wonder why they go to effort to mask off the top in order not to paint it?

Tony, I have no idea why dude. Maybe it's something to do with the way the peddle box get's painted, only some of it get's paint. Due to robot painting? Laziness? Being a cheap a***?

Cheers

My spare peddle boxes are just like that, missing a bit of paint, where the steering column bolts up.

Cheers

Managed to pickup the impco adapter I require today, now I can get the 425 installed & the airbox with maf plumbed up. Just that little bit closer to having it running now. Also picked up a new thermostat for my ducted heating at home as well. Gotta love taking a day off work to get s**t done once in a while.

Now, there's plenty to do, so I better get into it.

Cheers

ROFL! Probably a tiny bit, not enough to write home about tho. I just got the new ducted heating thermostat installed & it's working great, first time I've had it working in a few years now. It used to be expensive to run, except the price of power has gone up a lot since then, gas hasn't moved as much, so I think it might be cheaper to run now....

Cheers

Been busy wheeln & dealin, managed to sell some parts off the mighty boy I'm wrecking out (red one), and I've won the auctions on a couple of half height 2nd hand storage cabinets as well, will help to store s**t neatly, got them for a good price. Can't pickup until later in the week, thinking about having a bid on another one or two that are up on eBay as well.

Can't wait til tomorrow night, see if some of these items I have up on eBay sell. Fingers crossed, I need the space in the shed lol.

Cheers

Some items sold, others in negotiations.....in other news, got some bolts for the LPG adapter, it's way too small! Back to the LPG place it goes.

Cheers
