You seem keen enough to be able to change an old dash for a newer one of the same model, how about an EF/EL dash conversion to match the door trims? There's been a few people who have done it now, you'll have plenty of help...

I think next step is to get a nice paint job:P...

looks great there mate. should be proud... love your custom cold air intake. what brought on this idea and does it fill your air box with heaps of bugs and water??

thanks mate.
well i thought thats the best way to get cold air into the engine without a huge pipe hanging down..
and its not to bad .. it gets a few leaves in there every now and then but ive never had any issues with water getting in the airbox. even after driving through 2 foot of flood water at about 25 kmph..

yeah no s**t it would have to travel up hill
i've made a small air scoop in front of the upper intake on my ba and it fills with bees and s**t all the time

that car looks hot....... only thing i could possibly see for improvement is remove the badge from the bonnet and place it in the grille.

The 2 badge look for the front looks a bit funny, but other than that its a very sweet ride and a real credit to you

thanks mate..
yea i know the 2 badge look does look a bit funny..
its a set back of having a ea bonnet with a ed xr grill. if it ever gets a re-spray the badge recess will be filled in.
so at the moment its got a tickford badge in the grill instead of having 2 ford badges.....
