i just thought ill post up some pics of my car..

here are some of the progressive pics..
first was the wheels,tinted windows then the eb rear garnish and tail lights and the eb c pillar covers and then came the red eb rocker cover,extractors and 2 1/2" redback exhaust.. also the bonnet was replaced with a smick one and the guards had a home re-spray.. next was the side skirts,front lip spoiler,lowered king spring lows with koni adjustable shocks.kmac castor kit,nolathane bushes ect

now i replaced the crappy ea interior with the ed fairmont ghia leather seats,door trims,power windows,trip comp and i painted the dash facia and surrounding plastic in metallic grey and added a eb gt gear shift boot....

great work troyman.. always looks great in person at KK's or on cruises or shows.. BTW.. what model front lip spoiler is that?? i have a fibreglass replica at home doing nothing atm... (looks the same as yours)..

next came the au engine.. the old neglected 3.9 could not take anymore abuse..lol
the engine was first fitted with the log manifold and ea acessories.. there was a tech doco made on what needed to be done... http://www.fordmods.com/forums/AU-4L-En ... n-d85.html there are other things like ef radiator and thermo fans and a ed xr8 diff had been fitted. but i dont have pics and you all know what a diff looks like and there is more to come You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post. ok next up was the bbm/el ecu conversion..and the rocker cover got a lick of gloss black paint.and the au hp cam was installed..
also a home made cold air intake was made from a std au snorkle.. and the std snorkle was replaced with a ba xr6t snorkle..and a pod filter was thrown into the air box with a extra flex hose joined to a 60 deg bent piece of pipe.. next was the tailights i carefully pulled them apart and removed the orange lense from inside and then the rear garnish was replaced with a fairmont ghia one and that was also pulled apart and the orange was painted grey to match..
also the red s pac strip that runs all the way around the car was painted black! and.. i replaced the old black outer door handles with el handles painted to match.. being a crazy modder lol
i decided to replace the old cracked dash top with a fresh ed one and repaired the manual pedal box which most of you know will crack at some time in the cars life.. You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post. |

what was next lol.......... oh yea i fitted a rear after market boot spoiler,au clear side repeaters and black el xr6 guard badges then i got the sprint rear bumper lip.. now it was time for a change i got myself a set of nl fairlane door trims. and me not being completly happy with the interior i pulled the dash out again to change the lower section of the dash from ea dark grey to ed light grey. and i painted the steering column shroud light grey and changed the steering wheel again. and replaced the console to match..
once this was done i got myself a set of el ghia chrome door handles to give a little more! You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post. |
