yep its all coming together now..
i had a hot dog resinator added to the exhaust today..
so now it goes cat, hot dog, centre mufler then resinator at the rear..lol..
and suprisingly it still has a sweet sound...

went and got the car weighed at a local weighbridge and  with no spare, no jack, nothing in the boot with 1/2 tank petrol it still weighs 1620kg..

now ive just got to forward some info and contact the engineer..
then the car needs to get a blue slip(full roadworthy cert).
then off to the rta... :)

Im keen to see how this pans out. Any idea on what it cost so far extra since you've seen the engineer?

the first engineer inspection was free..so far its only cost $90 for the "3 hotdog $20 to get the car weighed. and the rest has been done with spares ive got..

Just clicked over 1000 posts in this thread

1620 ey, didn't think they weighed that much

yea considering on the rego papers it says 1450kg.

yes but the engineer cert itself is $880...
then a $43 blue slip fee and probably a fee from the rta for adjusted rego papers..

but its then 100% compliant to the cars adr rules and will be totally legal...

just don't wave it in the cops face and say ya can't touch me, theres always something they can get you for.

but.. its deffinately good to see it being done, if it wasnt so expensive in vic i'd be doing the same.

Being confident to go out and know you've done all you can to get it legal has got to be peace of mind.

Good to hear its all coming together Troy.
Blue slip will only be an engineering design check. No full roadworthy. If they try and pull that one tell them to shove it up their a***.
It was $58 roughly when I had the Maverick done.
Doesnt cost you anything at the RTA for the adjustment of records.
Its a pretty easy process actually.
