LOL at the weight... my Mav was 1800 total, and that was with a bigger half of a tank than yours.....hehe.

Is the Stinger doing anything?? I could plug mine in i'll be sweet also. Have to get a hold of this guy, if the caca hits the fan...lol

I remember now that the bov had a gaping hole in the pipe......

Cheers

Daz

at the moment the stinger is on holiday,,lol
the factory ecu is where it should be!
yea the the hole in the bov hose has been fixed.
everything has been done as required.
and the engineer is now happy with what ive done and has approved the certificate.
just got to pay him and get the certificate..

Remember you can still get a defect even if you have the certificate, what the police see as defectable isnt the same as what the RTA sees.

If the police defect you, you still cop a fine and you go to the RTA with your papers to get the defect removed.

I had a Hilman hunter i had with a turbo and i had a certificate for it and i still got a defect for how low it was, but i had not chnaged the hight of the car from when it passed and i got the certificate, and this was 6 months ago.

I still had to pay the fine. in the end i paid the fine and i sold the car wasnt worth the problems.

thanks for the heads up..
i guess it depends on how you behave on the road and toward the officer..
i meen the only reason i was pulled up in the first place, was because i gave it a bit of stick in first gear and the police heard how loud it was and the supercharger whine that gave it all away..

other than that i had been driving the car around and stopped a few times for rbt ect.
and they never even looked at the car..

If dc_todd doesn't take my old fairmont seats, do you want a couple for the material to do your doors with? Let me know after I confirm yay or nay on Dave taking them....

Cheers
RD

Troy

You can have one of those seats now if you want one, dc_todd wasn't able to grab them.

Fantastic news about your car, a much better outcome than having to start again!

Cheers
RD

No probs, not having much luck even giving stuff away these days! :) I feel your pain with the amount of stuff collected, just hope we don't have to move any time in the near future!

fair enough..
unfortunatly all the states are doing similar things when it comes to car mods..
im curently going through the process of getting the car engineered in nsw.
and it also needs a mod plate, engineering aproval for all the modifications, wheels, ride hight, noise tests ect..
