you could extend the lines and mount to the receiver/dryer off to one side, condenser should fit without much in the way of drama's

yea..
ive also got the supercharger case cooler next to the receiver dryer aswell..
its about the same size as the receiver dryer...
so there could be a fair amount of moving and measuring....

converting to coil packs....
i dug out the au manifold loom stripped it down to remove the coil pack wires, crank sensor wires and cam sensor wires..

now i just got to find out which colour wires from the sensors go where??
there is obviously one wire from crank sensor that goes to the ecu..
and one from the cam sensor that also goes to the ecu..

but i dont know where the othere wire from the sensor goes??
does it go to ground? or does it neev 5v from sensor reference or 12v???

Troy - You have me confused. How did the setup you have retard or advance spark in certain conditions (such as high intake temperatures or high boost) when running a dizzy?

I take it that is why you're finally putting coil pack ignition in, but when you say you edited the spark tables (a couple of pages ago in this thread) how did that work with dizzy ignition?

Sorry man - I have the wrong end of the stick somewhere. And Am Confused... :?

ok..
the timing adjustment is all in the ecu.. (ems ecu!!)
i can adjust fuel, timing, closed loop fuel and timing adjustments by temp..
its basically a fully adjustable ecu..and can be adjusted via laptop while driving or on a dyno..
the base timing is adjusted by moving the dizzy on a non adjustable factory ecu to get a little more power out of it..
but normally the dizzy is set in the one position and the ecu does the rest..

here is some screen shots of the ems program

i decided to go coil pack for reliability and easy access reasons..
at the moment if i want to change the dizzy cap or rotor button i got to remove the intake pipe ,supercharger and bracket ect...

Where, prey tell, are you going to mount the AU or EF coil pack then?...

Nice looking 3D graphs there Troy... I like the visable bump between the 2500 and 3000 rev ranges. I wonder what that is in aid of?

the oem spot in on the ef/au engine mount..
im running ed engine mounts.. i guess i could make a mounting plate but i would prefer to keep the coils away from the block if possible..

thats also an option but with the way the pipework is i think i would have to move the washer bottle..
then where do i put the washer bottle???
