ok
today i fitted my home made clutch pedal pin, clutch and brake pedal.
ive also transfered my firewall re-enforcement plate from the ea.
(this is so ill never have to worry about the firewall cracking)
the clutch cable has been fitted. so its just a matter of pulling the auto box out and fitting the 5 speed..

ive also found that the ea manual loom is wired different compared to the ed!
so after an hour fiddling around with a multimeter and swapping the wires in the plug around it should be ok..

on a side note i found that it was only getting 1/2 throttle for some reason.
which explanes why it was a bit of a dog to drive.lol
after a bit of spacing in the cable its good now... :D

Well done Troy.

If the difference is amazing in your car with that engine, I can't wait to see how a manual will be in my car.

Oh well, I will have to be patient for a while.

See ya on Friday.

yes
going from a strong au engined 5 speed that was in the gold car.
to a stock std ed auto in the white car was rather disapointing..
and now that ive changed it to manual its starting get that coming alive feeling... :)
ive still got a few more things to do to it yet..
the bbm conversion and serpentine conversion...
