I've pushed mine to ~11-12psi with stock coil pack.

I'm also running LPG which is even fussier when it comes to spark.

i run a .8mm plug gap.

There as another thread where the q was asked about wasted spark. I cannot find it, or remember, i replied to the effect that i was contemplating the same thing, but i would need another 2 MSD boxes, and it sounded like alot of work for little gain.
I am using the AU crank sensor, and the dizzy is doing just that, distributing the spark.
I might suggest that you get yourself an MSD CDI. I am running 15psi atm, and could easily go another 5....

I'll take you for a spin tomoz at Livo'

Cheers

yea its got be buggered why it did what it did..
the main reason i wanted coil packs is if i need to change dizzy cap or anything like that the supercharger and bracket need to be removed..
i wasnt after any real performance gain, just simplicity..

hay dazz
a run in the killer mav sounds cool... :)

not much has happened with the ed lately..
been busy doing a few bits and pieces to narelles au, taking bits off my old ea so i can send it to scrap and make room for the eb ghia turd  which has just run out of rego..

those who have seen the eb know why its not getting rego again..
as no panels are salvagable due to huge hail dents its got a blown head gasket and possible cracked head, in the 5 months ive had it ive loaded it up with 2 bottles of chemi weld to stop water getting in the cylinders.ive ceased/hydraulic locked the engine due to over heating, so just for kicks ive side swiped our gate driven it through a bush and ran it into the concrete steps..lol
and i thought why not smoke the tyres up aswell..
after all that i sat on the rev limiter in neutral untill my neighbour came out with the s**t and it still runs...
thats my story for the day..

LOL! Drain all the oil out THEN sit it on the rev limiter to see how long it takes to die.... would be an interesting excercise..... :)
