I hear the bottom end will handle it Troy. The Raptor would cark it sooner than the bottom end. Can you up the rev limiter to 6000rpm?

Id be careful pushing it that far until you know what your AFR's are doing too.

its currently putting 11.2 psi @5800rpm so upping the rpm to 6000 might push boost over 12psi.
but doing the math with the formula tim gave me, the raptor with engine rpm@ 6000 is 51300 rpm still under the rated 60,000 internal rpm the raptor is rated at..
ill think i might just give it 1 killer run with the limiter raised to 6000 or 6200rpm just to see what happens..lol..
i wont give it too much high rpm thrashings untill it has a decent tune..

no i havnt made any developments on the new tune side of things yet..
only been playing with the tune thats already there, my self..
i will get it tuned soon..lol
just that i keep modifying things so it will be done eventually..lol

the only thing i would like to do before a re tune would be a w2a or some kind of intercooling.

Intercooler with the new cam + a re-tune would be awesome Troyman! You'll no doubt see a good hp increase with that combination. Keep us up to date!

No worries....

Have you been on to frozenboost's website lately.........some low profile heat exchangers, that would work a treat.....If you can take advantage of the good Aussie dollar...

Just have to work out where you can mount it, then you can pick the cooler. Get the bosch pump!! I'll make you a res' to go in the boot, unless you got a better spot....

Cheers

not much happening on the ed at the moment..
except on the drive back in the pouring rain from the cancelled all ford day at doyalson on sunday,
silly me realised i was about to miss the exit from the freeway and veered across to exit the freeway and walloped the exit median and pretty much f**k a near new drivers front tyre..
it pinched the tyre against the rim and put a 6" split in the sidewall..
anyway $175 later i now have a new tyre  ..

and since the last time it was dyno tuned the car has had a 3" exhaust, more boost added and a wade au1645(977b)cam fitted..
so far since the cam was fitted the car has more oompf! from 2500rpm up.. but the idle is crap and afr is all over the place..
so ive got the car booked in for a dyno tune next thursday.. :)

update time...

got the car back today got it dyno tuned at ve rigoli at wetherill park..

a nice improvement .. the car idles properly the isc works as it should,
its now making 200.3 rwkw.. :D but the 29lb ba xr6t injectors are now too small..
running at 100% duty its just safe.. vince rigoli says it has potential to make more if i use larger injectors..
so compared to the last tune, the car has never idled so good or been so good to drive ...before it was verry jerky and rugged..
