fitting of the 2nd bov is done!!
i went for the second option.. and another huge thanks to DA22LE for his help.. :D :D ..
i also painted the top of the bov's black as they were different colours..i was going to pollish them but i got lazy..lol
there is obviously no performance gain from this but its just to ensure there is no boost surge putting load on the supercharger..
there is a lot more bov noise now..  ill now need to re plumb them to the air intake to keep the noise down..

Hey Troy, looking good there mate.

Not knowing a lot about these things yet, I will ask you 1 question. If you need a second BOV, could you just as easily upgraded to a larger one? Are you wanting a fully sick pissssst sound between gear changes

Nice tidy job mate, is it dazzels work?

there is larger bov's.. i think 40mm is the largest ive seen but verry pricey.. instead im running 2x 32mm bov's. with the 1x 32mm bov i could hear the flutter/surge on full throttle/high rpm gear changes..when i release the throttle at 5800 rpm there is a HUGE amount of compressed air to release...
 na the pshhh is ok.. but now that the blower has been upgraded for more boost the whole idea is to stop compresser surge, so there is no reason the internal belt should fail..

and yea da22le did the welding for me..

Sounds good Troy.

Cheers

LOL........

So even with the larger one, you are still better off with the 2 smaller BOV's. Ill have to read a few pages back to see the blower updates that ended up needing this second BOV. Sadly I am still on dial up and wont even be attempting to watch your vid

the upgrade was mainly a smaller pulley to spin the impeller faster to create more boost and internally it needed a wider profile internal belt, pulleys and new bearing to cope with overdriving the supercharger.. and 2x32mm is far better than a single 40mm.... :)

I agree there, 2x20mm would even be better than 1x40mm. As you have 2 doing the job of one and I would think extend the BOV's life span.

So how does it feel to drive since updating the blower? Feel any noticeable power increase? When is it making it to a dyno :P

well since the upgrade it now starts making 1psi boost at about 1500rpm(full throttle) where previously made 1 psi @ 1900rpm..and now makes 10 psi@ 5600rpm, 12psi @ 6000 rpm and if im willing to rev it to 6200rpm it makes just under 14psi.. but i have the limiter set to 5800rpm and normally change gears at about 5600 rpm.
when it was last dyno tuned it got 200 rwkw while starting to run out of fuel up top.. so i need to fit the 36lb injectors and tune it again..
but lately i havnt really been driving it that hard so a re tune is not to important... yet!!!
