At least changing the pads is somewhat easier with the EF/EL rear calipers

Handbrake is easy to connect to the ED front half.
It's the welding of all the brackets on to the boxcar diff that is the painful bit. BenJ

with regards to the abs sensor they are a direct fit as my mate broke one of mine when we changed the diff centre and i could only get an ef one, there not side orrientated either as the one i have came from the right side of an ef diff and i put it in the left side of mine.

far out its hot out there today!!!
anyway the ef backing plates, discs, and calipers are on..i ended up using the crap discs that came with the diff as the slotted rotors are a few days away!!! with a little bending of the metal brake line it joind up to the ef brake hose.. had a mate pop around to help bleed the brakes.. so far so good.. looking at the ed hand brake cable, i think it can be modified to work.. its only just an inch or two too short.. so at the moment im looking at welding the ed cable mount to the diff housing, extend the cable alittle (or just undo the adjuster a bit)and we will see what happens...??? here is a pic of where the ed hand brake cable currently sits without a bracket.
