kinda, i ground a little bit of the tip so it fit in real snug then i drilled a hole in the handle so i can put another screwdriver in the top so its like a t-bar thing, works really well.

well i picked up my slotted rear rotors and pads today..
as we know! not a difficult task, but i know we like pics!!!

the only thing i did, (that i should have done to the front!) was after cleaning the factory oil off the rotors i sprayed the centre with clear coat to prevent the hub section from rusting..
before..

the brakes work good, the handbrake works better than it did with ed calipers and actually better than the mrs au..
it must be the difference in leverage as i get full handbrake in just a few clicks...

time for a little up date..
first off, i picked up a set of 3.45 gears on friday night..
so in the next week or so the car goes for a ratio change and new bearings..

also if you remember when i first fitted the arf, boost gauges ect.. i used bulb dye on the cluster globes to make the cluster light up red like the gauges.. well 12 months later the dye had turned brown and the cluster was starting to light up brown rather than red..lol..

so today i picked up a xg s pack cluster which lights up white rather than orange like the ea/ed ones..
as the xg cluster had 220,000 odd kms and the odometer didnt work.compared to my 114,000kms
so i dismantled the clusters and fitted the xg facia to the ed cluster..
now it lights up white... :D

a comparison pic.
xg on top and ed on bottom

Cool update man. Interesting about the clusters. I was playing with mine last night, had to swap over a good working odometer into mine, as it was stuffed. Had me thinking about modding the cluster...

Cheers
