thanks guys..
i knew about xg cluster being white..
the problem was trying to find a xg s pack cluster, then finding someone that was willing to part with it.. :)

I take it because they are utes & van's there isn't that many S pack clusters, most would have been GLI/Taxi spec yeah?

I might have to keep my eyes peeled for a XG S pack cluster myself now. :D

Cheers

actually you can, a little wiring and you can have a sports cluster in a ghia/fairlane/LTD

ask BenJ about it, he gave me the info a few years back, but its 3 HDD's ago now lol

Ive seen 2 ! Unfortunately i was looking for an XH at that time !

Also in the stock XG Falcons do they use Yellow or White Bulbs even when the cluster is clear ?

ok.. latest update..
sent the car off this morning to get the diff ratio changed,
but a few hours after i dropped it off i got a call from them saying that it also needs new axle bearings as the lsd cone had been chewing into the hemisphere and had locked the centre and mixed fine metal shavings through the oil and scored all the bearings..
i had kind of wondered why the lsd had been working so good lately..

anyway its all good now. fitted 3.45 gears, a second hand lsd cone and hemisphere, new bearings and seals, :D

next time i will look at a hydratrak or a kaaz centre...

next on the list is fit the au bellhousing, au flywheel and clutch then finally ditch the ea set up..
