today i finally got around to fitting the new 36lb injectors, a year later!!!  last time i had it dyno tuned the fuel ratio was starting to lean out up top, so time to upgrade!!...
after fitting them the car started straight away but soon died in the a**.. too much fuel.
for now i just did a fuel map trim of 35% and seems to be idling good although the afr is showing 11.2 at idle so a dyno tune will be on the to do list...

out with the old..

Thats awesome Troy. You will see some extra top end to be had with these injectors. Get that tune done asap though.

im not expecting much more power wise, but considering its running rich at the moment it feels like it has more punch, i guess ill see next week, fingers crossed, and see if we can get 210rwkw???

I would be surprised if you dont considering your car is manual. With my car Id like to see 210rwkw once I get a bigger exhaust put on. Im also looking at fitting an AU series 1 head on too and possibly a reground cam the same specs as yours.

yea , well its either...its listed as one of there larger au n/a cams but they also recomended it for a turbo/superchaged set up aswell, i assume its because it has good lift and dosnt have huge overlap, with 114 lobe centres.. so it idles pretty smooth ..

That's a better one than the last one. Motor sounds pretty good from inside the car. Was your foot flat to the floor at any time, i am curious?? BOV's seem to be working well.....

yes and no... off the lights i went to nail it and because its running rich it bogged down so i lifted the pedal a little and eased it back on..
at the moment at idle the afr hovers between 10.5 11.2 at idle and is using about 30ltrs per 100km
thats why im 0ff to get it tuned again..

Very nice indeed Troy, you should get a tacho somewhere in the shot! Like the old Celicas in the old bathurst classics. :D :D

i had the camera mounted to the passenger head rest and i should have tilted the camera a little to the right so it could show the cluster aswell.

alright...
:D picked the car up today from being tuned...
well im in shock.
now tuned with the 36lb injectors its making 216 rwkw. :D "f**k awsome"

but the next problem is now the old ea clutch dont like it one bit, starts slipping alittle under load..
so time to fit the au flywheel and new clutch...

for some reason the stupid scanner is giving me the s**t..it keeps cutting the edges off the pic.. piece of crap..

anyway..

Nice Troy.

You got to be happy with that.

I also presume that it is much more driveable too?

Cheers

That's a pretty good result dude! Nice work.

Any reason to pick the AU flywheel over any of the EB-AU 6 bolt flywheels?

I'm sure we will all want to see a new vid once the clutch is done to see how it goes now.

Cheers
