Looks good Troyman! I will be interested in your opinion of the pedders gear.
Some people rave about it & others bag it out. Personally i have pedders white comfort gas lowered sturts & shocks all round with kings sl's and the EB Ghia rides pretty good. I've had a lot of kms (150,000) out of the shocks and they are still in great condition, acc to reports in the pedders shocker test machine. Cheers ToranaGuy

well the coilovers are in, im normally not a fan of pedders stuff but so far the car seems to still handle good and is not quite as harsh on the bumps as the king lows..
i had to wind the nuts up about an inch as it was to low, so off to get a wheel alignment tomorrow.. Attachment: DSC01901.JPG

killer, let us know if there is any major feeling of difference between normal shocks/springs and the coil overs Troy.

well i can answer that now...
im extremely happy with the coil overs.. while the pedders coilovers are excellent with the advantage or being able to raise or lower the car fairly easy, having more suspension travel.. if you prefer a smoother ride the pedders are great.. but if you dont mind a harsh bumpy ride with superb handling the koni yellow adjustable with the king springs are much better... i only changed them as the koni's are shot, leaking oil every where.. and i got the coilovers at a good price .. |

Are Pedders coil overs the only brand available for Fords?

I like the thought of the softer ride quality without reduction in handling. I currently have Eibach springs and they are a much softer feel as opposed to Kings. Im thinking of Koni adjustable's for the front and Koni yellows for the rear when these BOGE's cark it. But if funds were to permit, the coil over option is something I will definitely look into.

just a small mod i decided to do today..
i had previously drilled out a 3" hole in the inner guard for some cold air to get in.. so today i decided to try fit the pod filter behind the bumper bar.. i dont know if it will have much effect?? but anything cooler than engine bay heat must be better... im currently using an old ea intake hose to the charger intake but it looks like s**t, so i need to find a better flex hose!!! Good work Troy, should be an effective anwser to the cold air induction issue.

Also seeing as though the pod is not in the engine bay you might avoid any hassles with constabulary, well done!
