today i did the serpentine conversion.
fairly straight forward as i had all the parts. :)

now just got to get the aircon re-gassed this afternoon and its good to go..

how much is the aircon regas setting you back? i need to get the new EB done

about $120.. its already r134 gas..
the anoying part is with the troubles i had when i did my ea. it was gased 3 times before it was right..

this one should be straight forward as i didnt need to modify anything when fitting the ef aircon pump and the aircon was working..

well after taking it for a drive its so much smoother now :D

and taking a look at the old balancer there was so much dirt/grease built up inside it it was throwing the engine out of balance or something as around 3000rpm and up the car would vibrate..and considering the ed balancer had a slight wobble.
so its now like driving a new car lol.. :)

the aircon has now been re-gassed and is cold as ice....


and now that everything is off the au engine its time to start pulling it down..

so here is the totol run down as it is now..
so far it has only taken 8 weeks to get it from stock to how it is now..

1994 ed futura 4.0l
el manifold,el tickford ecu and serpentine belt set up.
au injectors
crow 519 cam/rollmaster verniea gear.
genie extractors,2 1/2 redback exhaust.
t5 5 speed,exedy hd clutch
3.27 diff from ed xr8.
koni adjustable shocks with king spring lows.
k mac camber kit.
nolathane bushes.

ed fairmont ghia leather seats.
nl fairlane door trims/chrome handles.
power windows.
cruise control
nl fairlane interior light.

ed xr front lights and grill.
sprint body kit minus rear spoiler.
au clear side repeaters.
el outer door handles.
custom modified ghia rear garnish and tail lights..
17x8 csa prowler wheels

Thats quite a trasnformation is such time. You do great work.

It'll be interesting to find out exactly what happened to the AU motor.

Yep Troyman, you have done a great job.

This ED has great balance. It is not too low, or loud, and the mods carried out to it give it a very clean look, but the car still has presence.
