Yeah That will be sweet as thanks Troy. Will be a fortnight or so after I buy the engine before it goes in, so no hurry.

yea i noticed the gear shift was moving a fair bit on acelleration and thought bugger another bloody engine mount..lol

i also had a thought that this might be related to my clutch staying on the floor on hard /high rpm gear changes..
as the clutch cable is cable tied to the k frame and possably when the engine lifts it also pulls on the cable holding the clutch on???
i guess ill find out tomorrow....

Cheers for that Troy, Is there a part number for the relay? Dont relays normally have numbers for the pins on the top? I can see that the way you have drawn the relay, it should be obvious to some. but yeah any chance of getting a more detailed description on the wires to the relay?

Thanks mate

yep if the gear shift moves about 2" when you give it a bit i would say you might have a broken one aswell..
and the crack is probably the metal safety plate on the mount making contact..

I did a bit of searching and found this

Image

By what I can see in your diagram you use the N.O. type, so the square in the relay you have drawn is representing the coil?

I dont mean to bug ya mate ive just never mucked arround with relays before? Just trying to work it out

Cheers

By what I can tell from the diagram The VCT wire and the positive battery wire. go on the N.O. switch side of the relay and I cant see if it would matter witch way they go arround on that side. And the ignition 12volt and the feed wire from the RPM switch goes on the coil side? Does it make a differance what way they go arround as long as the wires go on the right side of the relay as I have said?

Cheers

Josh
