well good friday is a good sanding and painting day lol...

well the bonnet is almost ready for undercoat.
after a nice coat of spray putty on the sides where the bulge joins the bonnet.
then a rub down all the imperfections except a couple of dots to be filled with spot putty are gone..
after another wet sand it should be ready for the undercoat then another light rub down and i should have some colour on it by sunday..(depending on weather)

this is todays effort..

Well troy now that we both have the same wheels i think it time i changed mine lol, but damn they look really good on your car (better then on mine lol), damn nice job you are doing on this car, just hope i can get mine this good one day.

no colour today..
but i gave it its last coat of spray putty and guide coat, rubbed it down gave it a wash and took some wet pics to see how straight it is.
i think its good enough there may be a couple of slight imperfections but you need super vision to find them lol.

then once the bonnet had dried wiped it clean and gave it a coat of undercoat.

now to just rub it down again :roll: and wait for some decent sun light then it will get its first coat of white... :)

well i got re motivated and rubbed the undercoat back and gave it another washdown..
i might be able to put colour on tomorrow

im loving the look of the deleted step up in the factory lines... looks alot more agressive with the bulge now
