It sounds cool Troy, How much boost do you think you can give the VCT? I have been told on another forum that I was a d***head for putting a VCT engine in my lane, and that you cant boost them. Im still happy with it, and still waiting for jaycar to order a new rpm switch, as I did stuff up the first one. So I am still yet to see how it will run with the VCT hooked up.

I am keen to see how this turns out.

off topic but apparently if you throw jaycar a few extra $ they will put it together for you

i dont see why you cant boost a vct??
thats like saying you cant boost a ba because of duel vct??

considering the bottom end is stronger than the e series..so boost is a good idea.
maybe in an au there might be issues because of the au's stupid t map sensor not liking boost but it has been done many times in au's with good success.
but in our case its running e series stuff with the strength of the au bottom end.
win win....
it should be running about 10 psi max

Yeah thanks Huggie I did know that. But I was and still am keen to do it myself. The instructions where a little unclear as to how to set it for a decreasing signal. they show a pic of it set for a raising signal which is how Troy has his set. I did what they say for setting it, but they fail to mention the other setting for it, so long story short I fried it as soon as I put power to it. Ill be right this time round.
