with a car looking like yours i would not be going down that path troy, do something alittle more discreet,or you will be looking over your shoulder none stop for piggys..but hey it's your call!!

naa it will be ok.. :)
considering ive been pulled over a couple of times for breath test and
the police have not once gone over the car..
im not saying they wont..
but the good thing is the kit can be removed with ease to clear any defects.
then its just as easy to re-fit it again..lol

while the na path is a good one but after the hassle i had with the last attemp at getting na power it cost me half of what the s/c kit cost and sent me backwards.
so this time im treating the engine like a nappy.. when it gets a bit s**t ill dispose of it and chuck another au engine in..

it would be fine, there is no cooler so you would not be able to tell, and i havent had any problems yet and ive had mine on for over 2 years been puller over for breath test and no a problem but it all depends on how you drive, the cops have a good look at me but just leave it at that

Troyman What would you regard as High Kms for an AU motor? THe Eseries motors i have had have been around 230 000 KMs and pulled hard would that be the same with an AU one?

i would say anything around the 300,000km would be classed as high and anything under 150,000 would be low.
but in reality it dont really mean much as it really depends on how it has been treated and if they have been serviced?..
there are a few fordmodders cars getting around with 300,000+ km engines and there cars are still strong and healthy..
there is xcabbi,s au fairlane xcab that has over 1.1 million kms on it and its still going..

while im waiting for the s/c kit to arrive..
ive been looking around for a quick shift for the t5.
i know some shifts are probably better than others but i cant justify paying $450 for a billet brand shift.
so ive purchased one from ebay us for $129 aus.
there are a couple of other fordmodders who have also just purchased one of these so i decided to jump on the band wagon and get one myself.. :)

cool. we usually all meet up near harrys cafe infront of subway at livo on friday nights..

at first it will be the 10 psi(probably realisticly being around 9 psi)..
i might later on change to the 12 psi pulley and fit a iUniversal Adjustable Boost Limiter Valve (BLV) si i can get boost earlier in the rev range and keep boost at a max of 10 psi.
although i might be happy with the std kit set up?..

Im getting on that band wagon too mate, not for a few weeks though. Those quick shifters look to be really good value mate.

Yeah i had the 10psi pulley, made 9.5psi at 5500rpm.
They have some low down grunt but when it gets over 3000rpm it flies, i think you will love it and the 12psi idea would def need water injection .

well......
i got my supercharger kit today..
there was a few things that need to adjusted slightly due to the kit being a el kit on an au engine..
but was still an easy fit..
