Please do, i wanna hear this new 3" exhaust The painted extractors look good by the way. Going by your sig, after the exhaust gets done, you might get lucky and gain 6+kw's to crack the 200 mark |

what made you part with the genies? they actually have a 3 inch collector... I took my pacie's out and put the genies in because I couldn't get the gas install over the pits as it was to close to the extractors and I run out of time..

i took the genie's off because the 4 bolt flange half way up keeps leaking since ive put the supercharger on and the engine pipes collect at that flange.
also the genies are press bent and the pacies are mandrel bent. also seeing as most people say that the pacies are best well ill see for my self.?. i was going to weld the flange up on the genies but i would have had to take them off anyway and thought ill see if the pacies are any better.. on the down side it looks like the genies are stainless steel and the pacies are only mild steel? |

stainless or mild steel, I reckon the paccies are better for flow.
Will you get the car re-tuned with the new headers? I recommend it.

Thats interesting... my genies are definatly not press bent.. but they look similar in every other respect.. does yours have the chrome genie batch bolted to them?? I ask because I didn't think genie did anything press bent under the name genie..
I made a copper gasket for the four bolt flange and layered it with exhaust gasket goo before bolting it tight.. have yet to see how it does under boost pressures, but I'm hopeful.. didn't notice any difference in power swapping between pacies and genies.. but the genies sound better... deeper and more husky.. My genies have a 3 inch collector which is bolted to a 3 inch magnaflow and then shrunk down to 2.5 inches for the rest of the trip.. will be interesting to see how it goes under boost. |

yep it definatly did sound like a truck of some kind lol...
here is a clip i took early thismorning on the way to the exhaust shop just for kicks.. if your pc has normal speaker it will probably just distort..lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=js-FzPLGZHA the exhaust is done.. the guy had fitted it without a resinator first and it was way too loud.. so he fitted a resinator and is much better but still fairly loud.. here is a pic as it was being fitted.. Attachment: DSC01462.JPG the exhaust note is a fair bit deaper than before.. so far the car responds better with the 3" but i havnt really opend it up yet..
