Oh for f**k! And some d***head cop decides to label you a boy racer (who should all be shot on sight admittedly) and take you to task.

Mate, remove the tints, don't put chromies on and get another bulge bonnet...

I once knew a guy who had two cars the same. They had the same number plates and were never out the garage at the same time. He did this for 15 years until one got too rusty and the cops were like "how the hell has this got a warrant of fitness mate?" and he thought he'd better not push it any longer.

Obviously I am not suggesting anything and am simply spouting forth in my usual fashion.

Now, would someone please tell me how to take out a K-Frame without having to remove EVERYTHING from the wheel arch (bar the brake lines!) Tell me how to do remove the bar that goes from the front of the K-Frame to the bottom of the shock without removing entire mechanism, steering, etc and I promise not to leave any more messages for 12 hours.

Hey....

Bad luck with the run in. Just been mulling over the latest s**t from the new laws. pretty sure i will be ok as far as raised suspension goes, as it was done when i got my mod plate.....

LPG injection would be a good option. Engineer would be about 1300 bucks.

Quiet turbo's rule, AND make more power, (think i'll get another muffler)...

I can see Harry's/Subway/Oporto turning into a ford-modders ghost-town....lol

Cheers

Daz

Geez, not good Troy - a total PITB!!!! The cop must have not got any the night before. Good luck deciding what to do, would be a real shame to see such a nice car lowered again to stock status, never mind all the work you put into it. This state (and country) has got alot to answer for when car enthusiasts can't even do up there cars without paying some d***head thousands of dollars for a piece of bloody paper. If they had their way we would all be driving electric cars then they would complain about the carbon bloody footprint. Time to move countries again me thinks......

Cheers
RD

bad luck mate. Yeh, would be a shame to stip out the ed. Emissions would be the toughtest part but yeh, give it a try and see what needs doing.

Still, could be worse, you could just go by a bseries xr6t

f**k that sucks mate, You really need to move over here. Whats this crap about not having a boxed filter? You aussie folk have some pretty rediculous laws..... how much does it cost to get an engineer to cert it? here in NZ it's $300. So basically you do ALL your mods at once and then pay 300 and the whole lot gets checked off, otherwise you have to pay 300 per check. eg if you modded your seat rails, got it certed then decided you wanted gull wing doors or something, another 300.

You poor Aussie modders, i feel sorry for you lot lol.

Tell the fuzz to kiss your a***, the engine is the same one found in ED's with a different manifold
In the meantime, ring an automotive engineer and ask for a quote to see how much it would cost to get the supercharger ticked off.

I reckon you would find mate all the engineers at the moment would have their freckles hanging out coping with the workload the VSI debacle bought on.
